Note that google maps has a very nice photo of the jail. Google, watch out, they will track down your vehicle and arrest the driver for taking pictures in public.
It's a shame to see the lack of training by Vicky Russell, the head jailer at Itawamba County Jail and Itawamba County Sherriffs. Voters, we need a new Sheriff in town.
People can take pictures from a public sidewalk. No harm was being done. You are not above the Constitution. You folks in the video give Police a bad image. Nice job deleting stuff on your facebook page as well. Shows your integrity.
Way to escalate a lawful situation into something it’s not. Seems most of the public officials in this town are not for the public at all. I’ll chalk it up to uneducated. That jail is ours to photograph from any public vantage point. We elect you to help preserve that right. Fail!
